ASSISTANT RESIDENT ENGINEER - HIGHWAYS (CONTRACT WORK) - LIMERICK
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a leading international engineering consultancy
Resident Engineer to supervise various Enabling works Contracts
including Site Clearance/ Fencing/ Ground Investigation/ Environmental
Surveys etc
Assist with the administration of the Contract will typically include;
draft progress reports, monthly valuations (Interim payment
certificates), claims determination letters, response to Conciliation
Statements of Claim, responses to RFIs and other contractor’s
correspondence.
Keep records of all information
Be aware at all times of the duties of contractors, sub-contractors
and others under Safety, Health and Welfare at Work legislation
Attend regular site meetings
Be aware at all times of the duties of contractors, sub-contractors
and others under Safety, Health and Welfare at Work legislation and in
particular the provision of;
o A safe place of work and safe access and egress to a place of work
o A safe system of work
o Safe plant and machinery
o Appropriate personnel protective equipment
o Arrangements for the welfare of employees
Liaise with statutory undertakers and stakeholders as required.
REQUIREMENTS
Level 8 degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience working on a National Road Project
8+ years relevant experience
Chartered Engineer is ideal
PACKAGE
